Esther Wright, MSW

Esther attended Hunter College, receiving a Master’s of Social Work with a major focus on Case Work and a minor in Gerontology.  Also, she attended the University of the West Indies, receiving a BA in Social Administration. She has been working in healthcare for over 20 years.  As a child, her grandmother was ill, and she helped care for her during that time, reading to her, talking, playing games, just to bring more comfort to her.  They were kindred spirits.  Making a difference in our residents' lives and their families is her favorite part of the job.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing guitar, decorating, and fruit carving.
